Last Monday was one of the most talked about episode about the dramatic and intense backstory crooked cop Mike Ehrmantraut in 'Better Call Saul'. In the upcoming episode, the show now highlights the favorite lawyer Jimmy McGill.
'Five-O' episode last Monday was the "best hour of television since Ozymandias," respectively. It was reported that it's almost unbelievably high praise, comparing to that iconic hour from the final season of Breaking Bad, but Episode 106 was "simply that good".
With the recently aired episode, fans are excited to know what will happen with the relationship of Mike and Jimmy. Writer of the challenging episode Gordon Smith told The Hollywood reporter that the said episode opens up a whole lot opportunity for Jimmy to know Mike not only a guy with information, but also a person who is capable of doing a task for him.
"It will still have the good back-and-forth sass that we've seen. But it changes Jimmy's understanding of Mike. He knew this was a capable guy, but I don't think he knew even half of what Mike was capable of. Now he's got kind of a glimpse of it. It opens up opportunities for Jimmy to consider Mike for whatever he's involved in. It opens up opportunities for him to think of him not just as a guy who happens to be useful for some information, but someone who maybe is more capable of actually performing tasks for him," Smith told the site.
Speaking of Jimmy, it appears that he will finally move out of his office located in the back of a Chinese nail salon and into a legitimate space, especially now that his business is starting to grow.
AMC has just released a sneak peek clip from the upcoming episode of the "Breaking Bad" spin-off prequel posted on YouTube. The plot details for episode 7, "Bingo," are described as such: "After being given the opportunity to do the right thing, Jimmy cashes in a favor from an unlikely ally."
The synopsis of the upcoming episode reads like this, ""Set six years before Saul Goodman meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and, often, against Jimmy, is Mike Erhmantraut. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts 'criminal' in 'criminal lawyer.' The series' tone is dramatic, woven through with dark humor."
The new episode of "Better Call Saul" is set for a March 16th air date on AMC.
