Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are still head over heels in love with each other. Despite the inevitable issues that the media had surrounded the couple in the past, they are actually doing great and seem to steer clear of any relationship troubles in the near future.
Famous comedienne Ellen DeGeneres, 57, and her spouse Portia De Rossi, 42, are setting a good example on how to keep it alive and well inside a marriage. Rumors surfaced about their marital separation, but Ellen openly claimed that these reports were untrue. The lovers met way back in 2004 and have been inseparable since.
In August last year, Ellen and Portia celebrated their 6-year anniversary with a bang. Ellen posted a on Twitter a photo of themselves and in the backdrop was a skywriting that spelled "Six". The caption of the photo read: "Look what my wife did for our wedding anniversary. Six!" It was apparently, Portia's wild surprise for the television host.
The couple also addressed baby rumors that were thrown at them by the tabloids. The "Arrested Development" star said in a reaction to the stories which claimed they were starting a family: "Like, are people really that mad at us? ... So, um, no ... we're not."
In 2013, marital issues were reported by the tabloids. It was reported that Ellen's crush on the actress and model, Pamela Anderson was building up some strain in her relationship with Portia. The claim had apparently become "a real issue for Portia."
Despite all the unfriendly hullabaloo from the media, the adorable couple are indeed going strong and still, madly in love. They two have recently posted so many pictures on social media, from their romantic trips abroad, to their funny and sweet selfies.
In an interview with People magazine, Ellen explained: "The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time."
