Marvel is about to introcude another superhero in the mainstreams as it launch a 2016 debut for the movie "Doctor Strange." Benedict Cumberbatch is scheduled to lead the standalone movie but rumors of the actor rejecting the role are already resurfacing on the internet. A brand new league of superheroes are about to conquer the cinemas as Marvel plots and twists their cinematic universe towards a spectacular reunion of heroes in the very near future.

Benedict Cumberbatch is the lead star of the television series Sherlock and was recently married to theater director Sophie Hunter. Joaquin Phoenix was the first actor rumored to land on the spot, but Cumberbatch's name became a more feasible prospect for the role after Kevin Feige saw the sincerity and depth of the actor.

"In 2016, Benedict will show audiences what makes Doctor Strange such a unique and compelling character," said producer Kevin Feige. The statement from one of the biggest producers of Marvel seals the deal for the lead spot in the film.

Kevin Feige also shared who Dr. Strange is and what makes him a potentially enigmatic character that could win the hearts of movie goers. "It takes a while to work on these movies before they're ready to come to you in theaters. Dr. Stephen Strange is a brilliant neurosurgeon, nit of an arrogant fellow who gets in a car accident and ruins what he thinks are the tools of his trade; his hands." "We want to enter through Strange, the world of parallel dimensions." He further added.

The plot of the movie would most likely lean into how Dr. Strange lost hope and then later on found a purpose worth dying for. He'll meet a Himalayan healer that will unleash his psychic powers to help fight evil.

Dr. Strange is scheduled for cinema release on November 2016.
