Fleetwood Mac fans from Oklahoma City, prepare yourselves for some bad news. The classic rock band's upcoming concert at the Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma city has just been postponed, and fans will have to wait at least a month's time to finally hear the concert they've been waiting for.
It seems that one of the band members (although it hasn't been revealed which one) has fallen ill, causing the band to hold off on live performances for at least a month's time. The Chesapeake Arena show, originally set for Thursday, March 12, is now slated to happen on Friday, April 17. This is also not Fleetwood Mac's only cancellation and rescheduling in recent times, as the band's upcoming performance in Little Rock, Arkansas (which was slated for March 11), is now going to happen on April 19.
However, as frustrating as this might be for those who've been waiting weeks to finally get to see Fleetwood Mac in a live venue, there's one silver lining. The band (also, Chesapeake Arena) have made it as easy as possible for those with tickets to the postponed show to get into the new one. All you have to do is show your old ticket (for either the LIttle Rock or Oklahoma City performance) at the door, and you'll be let in. Simple as that.
Fleetwood Mac's current tour was originally scheduled to last all the way through the summer. The last show of their tour is currently set for June 17, 2015 at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. it's not yet clear if this illness is going to disrupt more tour dates than just the ones in Oklahoma City and Little Rock- and if the illness lasts longer than Fleetwood Mac is expecting, it could have dreadful consequences for their current tour. Hopefully, it won't come to that.
