The Platinum-selling rapper Kendrick Lamar released his new album ‘To Pimp a Butterfly.' Cover photo shows a group of men and children pose in a forest area in front of the White House.
In an interview, Kendrick reveals his new album was supposed to be untitled or will be titled ‘Untitled' by his editor Josh Eels. However, they've decided to make it up and created the ‘To Pimp a Butterfly' headline. The name was taken on play ‘Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird.' "Just putting the word 'pimp' next to 'butterfly'... It's a trip. That's something that will be a phrase forever. It'll be taught in college courses - I truly believe that," Lamar said.
The Black and White album cover was captioned "Don't all dogs go to heaven? Don't Gangsta's boogie? Do owl shit stank? Lions, Tigers & Bears. But TO PIMP A BUTTERFLY. It's the American dream nigga..." - Lil Homie. It has 16 tracks which are the following:

This will be Kendrick's fruitful year as he will have upcoming concerts which would start next week at the Tempe Beach Park, Tempe, US for the ‘Pot of Gold Music Festival 2015.' It will be followed on May 22-25 in a Sasquatch! Music Festival in Gorge Amphitheatre, Washington. By the end of May, Lamar will be present in Merriweather Post Pavilion. Following the month of May, the Grammy-nominated performer will have a concert on June 11-14 at the Great Stage Park, Manchester for Bonnaroo Music Festival 2015.
Before June ends, Lamar will perform at the Staples Center. By July 3-5, 2015, Wireless Festival awaits as he'll perform in Finsbury Park, London. Lastly, in Canada, he'll be up to WayHome Music and Arts 2015 at Burl's Creek Event Grounds dated July 24-26.
