'Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire' gamers compete in two exclusive battles; Enter the Dragon, Japan Cup 2015 determine best in 'Pokémon ORAS'

The registration period for Pokémon Enter the Dragon Type Online Competition began on March 12th and would be completed on March 19th. Also, Japanese Pokémon gamers geared up for the Japan Cup 2015. The latest competition determined the country's representative for the Pokémon World Championships.

Pokémon gamers interested in joining the Pokémon Enter the Dragon Type Online Competition began registering for the competition since Thursday. As a reminder, the competition would be a Double Battle. This meant that gamers used the National Pokedex with a least one Dragon-type Pokémon in the team, based on an update from Pokémon Global Link. Gamers used Legendary and Mythical Pokémon for the competition.

Pokémon gamers could check out the list of Pokémon that could be used in tandem with a Dragon-type Pokémon for the Pokémon Enter the Dragon Type Online Competition in an earlier report. However, the competition opened exclusively for "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" gamers. Also, registered ORAS gamers should have Pokémon Trainer Club membership and their game should have a Game Sync ID registered in the Pokémon Global Link

The competition would run from March 20th and would be completed on March 23rd; registered gamers would be entitled to a free Level 10 Amaura. The Amaura had the special ability "Snow Warning" and the moves "Growl," "Powder Snow," "Magnet Rise" and "Rock Throw," based on an update from Serebii.

Meanwhile, the Japan Cup 2015 to be held from May 01st to May 05th determined who would be Japan's representative in the Pokémon World Championships. The rules for the competition were released; it would be a Double Battle and the National Pokedex would be used. However, Legendary Pokémon would not be allowed in the competition.

The registration for the Japan Cup 2015 would begin on April 17th. Top 32 senior and junior "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire" gamers would be selected for the competition; 31 of these gamers would be coming from Masters, while the last gamer to complete the magic 32 gamers would likely be a wild card based on an addition game that would be announced on a later date.
