Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo: Irish fighter Promises to be Ruthless with Featherweight Champion? Joseph Duffy Predicts McGregor's Victory

To promote their highly anticipated match, Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor has 12-day international tour in five countries. The two mixed martial artists is scheduled to prove their prowess in fighting in Ultimate Fighting Championship or UFC 189 at MGM Grand Garden Arena Las Vegas, Nevada in July 11.

With impressive stats of McGregor and Aldo, UFC fans are surely has exciting fight to watch. Both sports stars are popular with their winning streaks especially Aldo who keeps his UFC/ WEC belt for nine consecutive years and 25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC career history.

"I'm going to rip that Brazilian's head off," McGregor said about Aldo. "I'm calm, composed and I'm ruthless. This is just another man in my way. I feel he cannot finish his dinner, let alone an opponent. If it goes to five rounds, I'll be more than ready. But it just takes one clean connection from me and it's done. That's proven."

Though there are claims that Jose is planning to take another weight class soon the 28-year-old Brazilian said that he's focused with his current mission.

"One step at a time," Aldo said in his interview with Sherdog.com." I have a tough fight with McGregor, and that´s my goal now. After that fight, you will know what is gonna happen. The UFC knows, I know, and everything is already set."

Meantime, Joseph Duffy also known as the 'Last Man To Defeat Connor McGregor' predicts that the 26-year-old Irish martial artist will beat Jose within three rounds. In fact, Duffy also shared on ESPN that he recognized his McGregor's skills even he defeated him few years ago.

"To be honest, when I fought Conor it was the first time I felt someone really got the better of me in one specific area," Duffy shared on ESPN. "At that time, I felt he had better timing and picked his shots better. So, I remember his fight, I was keeping an eye on him. I knew he had talent."

For those asking if there's possibility for a rematch between McGregor and Duffy, Mirror's report suggested that at least Duffy is also okay with that.

"It's hard to say at the minute, because I'm talking about dropping (to featherweight) as well. Everyone is talking about it but when the right time comes, I'm sure that fight will take place," Duffy said.
