Visceral Games prepares its Battlefield Hardline to release in this same week in multiple platforms while the Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is set to be launched soon as well. New features to arrive in nine new maps, seven modes, and more are about to be unveiled.
Though Visceral Games has released information about Battlefield Hardline bit by bit, at least they confirmed that the EA's cops-and-robbers-first-themed first-person-shooter will be playable by Thursday, March 19 through EA Acces. However, this will only be for those who have pre-ordered.
For users who have it already pre-ordered in PC via Origin, they can start playing as soon as it will be unlocked by March 19, since the game is already playable. On the other hand, for users who haven't had their pre-orders before, there is no exact date released confirming date.
With the features contained in Hardline -- nine new maps, seven modes, four factions with different appearance, 51 new weapons, 28 new gadgets, as well as 27 new vehicles, as previously confirmed by Visceral -- they can be played either in multiplayer mode, and single player campaign.
In details, these new maps include The Block, Dust Bowl, Hollywood Heights, Growhouse, Derailed, Riptide, Everglades, Downtown, and Bank Job; and Hardline modes, Conquest, Team Deathmatch, Heist, Blood Money, Hotwire, Rescue, and Crosshair, will all be set across platforms and gameplay modes, as players can have this in multiplayer or single-player as well.
Hardline will showcase new weapons as specified: new arsenal guns such as the stun guns, zip lines, grapping hooks, getaway motorcycles, as well as the nimble police choppers.
With these being said, so far, Hardline has received good reviews from critics. As mentioned, a lot of enjoyment felt by players in the initial phase of the game, especially that the gamers can now feel a "good deal of freedom."
One review said, "After the mostly on-rails prologue is through, I'm given a choice of how to play: I can go in guns blazing, or sneak around, separating and arresting criminals ..."
However, to fully reach optimal gaming experience for Hardline, gamers should avail $60 MSRP especially for Xbox 360 and Xbox One (pre-orders available at Microsoft Store). Then by at the end of purchasing, they could get $10 Xbox gift card.
Along with Visceral's Battlefield Hardline to release in PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Electronic Games will also have its Final Fantasy Type-0 HD in current generations this week, on the same date, March 19, Thursday.
