After its successful release in Japan in 2014, Lost Dimension invades West -- North America and Europe -- this year. According to recent reports, Atlus announced about its release in Playstation platforms.
This tactical RPG gameplay will hit screes in North America and Europe this year in PS4 and PS Vita platforms. As reported, it would likely to arrive in these particular areas in summer.
Lost Dimension revolves around the main protagonists - SEALED - a group of psychically gifted warriors. This same group will also the be the same lead group in the battlefield. After the combatting, these warriors will set back and chat with the players to improve relationships and build camaraderie.
This is another interesting part of Lost Dimension, compared to other RPG games out in the market. They build gameplay around the established relationships of the players and the warriors in the game, while setting back after the combat. Thus, this game believed of having a well-coordinated teamplay while getting closer to the final stage of the combats.
Atlus PR Manager John Hardin explained about this particular strategy of putting the gameplay in distinct way, by saying, "And as you inch closer and closer towards the final boss, you're forced to kill one of your teammates -- hoping against all hope that you figured out enough clues along the way to be able correctly identify which of them is actually a traitor."
If the player happened to mislead his self to killing the wrong one, these team mates will have their awful revenge to him. This is another exciting and the thrilling part of the gameplay, aside from building the camaraderie in the initial phase of the game.
Upon having conversations with team mates, each player has to use his psychic powers (literally the psycho thing) to delve to an in-depth self-investigation to identify the possible traitors of the group. Through these conversations and deep observations (amid illusion of camaraderie), players should be able to distinguish which of them is the traitor among the group.
For users who wish to opt for a new game, they can click New Game + mode after being beaten the first time. With choosing the traitor among the group, from the players, they are just randomly picked to whoever will be assigned for such role.
Aside from the exciting gaming, Hardin also revealed about the pricing which reaches around $40 ($39.99). Lost Dimension will be available in PS4 and PS Vita through retailers or through PlayStation Store.
