It's really nice to make someone laugh and it is fulfilling to bring fun to a crowd. However, there's always a disadvantage in performing a joke as this will ignite a fight when not delivered properly. At Justin Bieber's Comedy Central Roast, comedian Chris D'Elia quip was never accepted by few people as the gag is about singer Selena Gomez having sex with "Lord of the Rings" actor Orlando bloom.
According to a source, Chris made fun of Selena last Saturday which is believed to be offensive. "She particularly took offense to a joke about a sexual relationship with Orlando Bloom. She doesn't like her dirty laundry washed in public like that and likes to keep relationships private," the insider stated.
At that night, it was reported Justin laughed like crazy making the "I Want You to Know" singer extremely mad (though she didn't attend). Allegedly, she got nervous that she's the target of fun and what's worst is that they jest about her private life. A thing that Selena doesn't want to happen.
Along with D'Elia were comedians Natasha Leggero, Jeffrey Ross, Hannibal Buress, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Martha Stewart and Shaquille O'Neal. One question from Ross goes like this, "Is it true you dumped her because she grew a mustache before you?" Everybody laughed.
Before this, Selena declined the invitation for the Comedy Central Roast. According to @ABCNewsJason's tweet, the former Disney Star cannot come for no reason at all. "@KevinHart4real @selenagomez, she couldn't be here tonight...because she didn't want to come. That's all, no joke #BieberRoast," he wrote. Currently, Gomez is dating the Russian-German DJ Zedd and just recently they released a song entitled "I Want You to Know" which hit the US Music charts last month.
While all were busy laughing at the jokes reportedly targeting Selena, Zedd immediately offered his shoulder for her to lean on during the bad catastrophe. "Zedd understands how Selena likes to keep her personal life - just that - private," a source close to the "Slow Down" crooner dished.
