'Money Changes Everything' is a Cyndi Lauper song but it seems suit to Whitney Houston's only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown's case. In the recent interview with Leolah Brown, she accuses Patricia Houston and Nick Gordon behind her niece medically-induced coma, an effect of her questionable bathtub incident on January 31. Is this because of Bobbi Kristina's reportedly $20M inheritance from her singer mom?
Bobbi Kristina has turned 22-years-old last March 4, but she still hanging on through life-support at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. In connection to her critical condition her loved ones are longing for her fast recovery.
"Today is Bobbi Kristina's 22nd birthday and we ask you to continue to keep her in your prayers as she is still fighting the battle of her life," Pat Houston, President of The Whitney Houston Estate, posted on whitneyhouston.com on Bobbi Kristina's birthday.
"We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina," a statement from Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Bobby Brown. "The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended."
However instead family alliance, the incident brought feuds and accusations that also involve Bobbi Kristina's partner Nick Gordon. According to Bobby Brown's sister Leolah Brown, Gordon is guilty and Pat Houston also has something to do with the incident. Leola added that her accusations are based on ongoing criminal investigation of the matter.
"There is a police investigation going on and I don't want to hinder that in any way but my belief is that Pat Houston has a lot to do with it," she said in her interview with TMZ.
"Whether it be her actual hand I can't say that right now but I hold her accountable for what happened to my niece Bobbi Kristina because of what knowledge I have of her and I have that right to say that."
Leolah added that Pat is a "money hungry beast" that even Whitney didn't trust her. She also questioned Nick's sincerity and consistency amid the investigation. Apparently, Bobbi's aunt wasn't convinced with 25-year-old's claims and intervention with Dr. Phil McGraw.
'His habits and his actions are not conducive, nor are they consistent with anyone who is concerned for anybody.
In CNN's report, initially police taps that it's a medical matter, but they are now gearing to a criminal investigation as per Chief Rusty Grant's email to them. They also divulged that 24-year-old Max Lomas was the other person besides Nick who discovered Bobbi Kristina's unresponsive state and he's subject of the criminal investigation. In addition to detail that the 22-year-old Brown found faced down in her tub, she also has bruises on her chest, which according to a Gordon's statement to his friend Daphne Barak was because of the CPR he performed.
According to the news site, Bobbi Kristina is the sole heir of approximately $12 million to $20 million Whitney's estate. She's slated to receive second and third installments of her trust in 2018 and 2023. Reportedly, she received one-tenth of her inheritance last year.
