"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" is one of the biggest films from Warner Bros and DC Comics set for 2016. Recent reports reveal that Batman takes the spotlight in the "Batman vs Superman" trailer which will be revealed at San Diego ComicCon this July. There are several good candidates for the Main Villain who will pose the biggest threat in the upcoming film.
BATMAN VS SUPERMAN TRAILER
A lot of fans have been waiting for the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie, and most of them have also been waiting for its teaser trailer which has yet to be released. The recently reported Batman vs Superman leaked trailer reveals Batman asking if Superman will help or destroy mankind. While It also shows Superman with red glowing eyes facing the Caped Crusader and the snapshots of the members of the Justice League, it is still too Batman-centric according to reports.
Thus, it may have been one of the reasons why the Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer was delayed since Warner Bros intends to render a new version of the highly anticipated trailer. Considering that the Batman and Superman clash will be the debut of several DC characters with planned solo films and it is a precursor to the Justice League Movie, the film studio would want to make sure that the teaser trailer will live up to the expectations of the fans.
Another report reveals that there is a possibility that Warner Bros and DC intends to release the much awaited "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer at the upcoming San Diego ComicCon this July. Marvel will not be present at the upcoming convention and this provides a good opportunity for Warner Bros and DC to showcase their upcoming films. This will allow them to have allthe spotlight in the Superhero movie genre and they will have the full attention of the crowd.
POSSIBLE MAIN VILLAIN
In other news, there are several possible villains for "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice". Each is unique in his own way but who will pose the biggest threat to the upcoming movie?
Lex Luthor - is one of the best candidates as the main villain in the upcoming film. He is a brilliant manipulator and has infinite resources. While he doesn't have any superpower of his own, he can still go at par with Superman himself by using his control and influence.
Doomsday - is the only villain who has killed Superman in the comic book. He may make his appearance in the upcoming film as a Luthor Experiment or an alien entity from Krypton. Lex Luthor may retrieve General Zod from the "Man of Steel" movie and construct Doomsday from his remains.
Metallo - has a huge advantage against Superman since he is a cyborg who uses Kryptonite as a power source. DC fans would know that Kryptonite is the weakness of Superman and it will be a very hard fight for him to go head to head with Metallo without the help of his friends. Again, Lex Luthor may create Metallo from the remnants of the previous "Man of Steel" movie.
"Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to premiere on March 24, 2016. Warner Bros and DC may release its trailer on San Diego ComicCon this July as several villains may appear in the upcoming film.
