Warner Bros."Justice League 2" is projected to be a hit in the box office considering the tight competition with Mavel's movie line-up in the next five years. The film is reported to be directed by Zack Snyder, the one who directed big action movie titles such as "Sucker Punch", "Man of Steel" and the upcoming "Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice" which will be released in 2016. Chris Terrio is reported to pen the movie. As of now, only a few stars have been casted for the roles. Henry Cavill will play as Superman, Ben Affleck will be returning as Batman and Gal Gadot will reprise her role as Wonder Woman.
The "Justice League" is composed of the world's greatest superheroes, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, The Flash and Green Lantern. But according to some reports, Green Lantern will have a solo film rumored to be released on June 19, 2020, a date not far off from the "Justice League" sequel release. This might signal that the hero will be left out in the "Justice League" sequel. Is it possible that the 2020 film might be a spin-off?
Who are the villains in the "Justice League 2"?
The antagonists are one of the things to watch out in the movie. For the first installment, the rumored villain to terrorize the heroes is "Vril Dox" or also known as "Brainiac". "It makes sense for Brainiac to show up because rumor claims the movie, currently, is codenamed Justice League: Brainiac's Saga, and it will be the first time we get to see Brainiac on the big screen." a report writes.
For the sequel, Darkseid and Doomsday are reported to be the superhero team's enemy. Darkseid's power is the Omega Beams that can destroy anything. In addition, he has telekinetic powers and is invincible.
