In May of 2014, Kim Kardashian, 34, and Kanye West,37, finally tied the knot at Fort Beldevere in Florence, Italy. Despite the hundreds of guests and some of the glamorous celebrities who attended, Kim missed one important person. His stepbrother, Brody Jenner, was not able to make it to her wedding. Since then, controversies circled in as the media scrutinizes yet another likely family feud.
Many have speculated about the real reason why TV personality and model Brody Jenner was not able to attend his stepsister's lavish wedding. In one explanation that Brody gave, he said: "There are a few reasons that came into play on why I didn't go to Kim's - one thing being it was in Paris, which is a long way away," he added, "The second reason is she didn't let anybody know in the family until like right before - only a few week's notice. By that time I booked stuff that weekend. I was working and had DJ gigs."
Following Brody's snub of Kim and Kanye's wedding, reports have revealed that the son of former Olympic athlete, Bruce Jenner, did not invite his stepsister to his birthday. According to a source, "There was never any thought to even invite Kim," adding that, Brody never sees Kim except when they are filming, and the two aren't even considered friends."
However another angle presents a different answer as to why Jenner was not able to make it to the wedding. Brody Jenner's girlfiend, model Kaitlynn Carter, was reportedly uninvited to the wedding, and that Kim admittedly told his stepbrother cannot bring his girlfriends.
According to a source, "Bruce asked Brody to tell the media that he wasn't going because of work commitments. So Brody publicly went on record and said he had commitments and the wedding was too far away." Brody Jenner was said to be unhappy about having to paint a different picture and having to cite work-related and personal matters as his reasons.
However, despite the media's perspective and despite not being able to attend the wedding, "The Hills" star said: "That's not to say I didn't call Kim and say, 'I wish you the best and I love you and support you. This is a great decision."
Is there really a feud going on, or is there just a little family misunderstanding?
