Pippa Middleton’s £400K US TV Contract Stalls; Middleton’s Test Tape Deemed ‘Cringe-Worthy’

By

Despite her royal connections, Pippa Middleton failed to land a career in US TV with her test tape missed to impress. Is it over for the British?

It seems that Pippa has run out of her Middleton magic when NBC decided to hold the over a £400,000 contract for the 31-year-old.

Her test tape with her dancing in the Wild West was considered 'cringe-worthy' according to some sources. It obviously failed to impress, reported The Daily Beast.

However, according to a source from NBC, the negotiation is still ongoing and that they're still figuring out the kind of role she might play and where she's most suited, whether in studio, taped pieces, or live shots.

Still, a similar story surfaced which claims that it was Pippa Middleton's decision not to take up a full-time job in the US, reported Telegraph.

"There were talks and Pippa did a test shoot which went really well," an unnamed friend of Miss Middleton said.

"But for various reasons, a regular show with Pippa isn't going to happen.

"She didn't want to commit to a big job in the US. She's got a boyfriend in Geneva and family in the UK.

"She will be working with the network on an ad hoc basis. It was Pippa's decision. It's not where she sees her future."

It is without question that she possesses such charm with her ever-ready smile and obvious lust for life, wrote Daily Mail. She was even close to upstaging her older sister Kate Middleton.

However, four years after the Royal Wedding in April of 2011, Pippa seems to consistently lose the momentum of her impressing the crowd, with more and more people doubting her abilities.

Reviewer Jon Moir was not into flattery when he pointed out her lack of qualifications and aptitude for the job when she was still writing for Daily Mail. He said that Miss Middleton is not a reservoir of original ideas and he doubts that there's anything interesting about her craft other than her connections to the Royal family.

"From the moment she appeared in butter satin at her sister's wedding, Pippa has struck absolutely no one as the kind of girl you would always find in the kitchen at parties,' continued Moir.

"And would she really have gained a lucrative publishing contract to write about something she calls "simple, creative entertaining" if her sister were not married to a member of the Royal Family?" Moir expressed.

What do you think is the real reason why Pippa Middleton failed to get the £400,000 US TV contract? Do you think she possesses the talent to land a career in NBC? Tell us what you think.
