After a decade of waiting, a sequel of the family-oriented superhero movie, "The Incredibles 2" is about to be released on cinemas on 2016. The Incredibles kids are all grown up and Violet and Dash are already in their teens. An exciting love interest is rumored to be included in the movie. How will Mr. Incredible and Helen Parr react to this exciting yet frightening event in the family?
One of the most feasible plot lines being rumored to be the focus on the sequel of the box-office hit movie focuses on the early adulthood life of the Parr children. Violet Parr, the young lady who was hesitant with her powers is now a grown-up and juggling school life, boys and keeping her secret identity a secret from her friends and school mates. Dash is also in the same situation but being in his teenage years is exploring and taking advantage of his powers to the point of being discovered.
Mr. Incredible and wife Helen will be having a hard time reaching out to the older kids, while Jack Jack would end up wanting attention from the two. Unfortunately, the kid finds attention from a stranger, most likely with the villain in the story. The villain is rumored to be the same antagonist from the first movie, Syndrome, seeking for revenge. Another villain by the name of Gazerbeam is rumored to be part of the movie. In some forums, claims that Gazerbeam and Syndrome is just the same person also surfaces.
On the other hand, fans of the series are wondering why the sequel took more than a decade before it was finally materialized. Brad Bird, the returning director of the movie explained, "Pixar does not look at sequels as a financial plan. We feel we have a relationship with the audience and that they believe in each movie we put out. We believe completely in every movie we put out. If I can come up with a story that is as good or better than that first film, then I'd love to return to that world, but it would to be story first."
"The Incredibles 2" is rumored to have a 2016 release, speculated to be before or around Christmas time.
