Fans still recovering from the jaw-dropping revelation in the Wednesday episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, CBS daytime soap, executive producer, has hinted about the new twist, telling that the shocking turn is valuable because it is about lenience. The last episode hinted that Maya Avant played by Karla Mosley is actually a transgender. The time of discovery came in a confrontation scene between Nicole (Reign Edwards) and Maya.
"You're not my sister, Maya. You're not Maya at all," Nicole said during the episode. "You're Myron, my brother."
Bell revealed that twist about Maya/Myron "is about respecting other people's differences and uniqueness. "The transgender story we are telling on 'The Bold and the Beautiful' is important because it is about tolerance," Bell, head writer and Executive Producer n the show, said. "It is about people respecting other people's differences and their uniqueness. In the end, we all want to be loved and in order to love someone else you first have to love yourself. If you are transgender, gay, straight, it doesn't matter. It's about finding love in life. This is a love story."
Fans do wonder and have some questions about how the Bold and the Beautiful transgender plot with Maya will be connected with some of what was written about her character in the past. Though, it's clear that the show has done a lot of preparations in writing this plot, so fan can likely to anticipate more twists and turns as Maya's story continues.
