Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are getting married this 2015. A romantic outdoor wedding is in store, although the final plans have not been made yet. However, there is a question turning over in everyone's mind. Is Nina Dobrev still feeling bad about the news? Even more so, will the actress be there to witness the marriage ceremony?
The 36 year-old "Vampire Diaries" actor Ian Somerhalder is set to marry Nikki Reed, best known for her role in the "Twilight" saga. The two, who share a passion for animals, have planned for a very romantic outdoor ceremony and are also thinking whether to have a glamorous or intimate celebration.
However, many have asked whether Ian's former girlfriend and "Vampire Diaries" co-star Nina Dobrev, will be attending the ceremony. It can be recalled that Ian and the 26 year-old actress shared a 3-year relationship which ended in May of 2013.
"It's a very weird predicament for Ian and Nikki," the source told Hollywood Life." "If it is a big wedding Ian feels that he has to ask Nina to go, but anticipates her to respectfully decline. That would be a win win," the source added. "One thing for sure is that it is a problem they are definitely trying to figure out."
Additionally, according to an insider close to the engaged couple, the two have "done very little planning," adding that the guest list will be "nothing crazy, with mostly close family to be there."
Ian and Nikki have dated for six-months before heading to their blissful engagement. Reed had also been previously married to "American Idol" musician Paul McDonald, until their split in 2014.Their divorce was consequently finalized just this January. A source shared about Nikki and Ian: "They were crazy happy from the start. Their families love each other. It just feels right."
Nikki recently shared her happy news with Us Magazine, stating that, "He's quite possibly the most amazing man that's ever walked the planet, it's crazy. I'm so lucky, I love him."
It finally seems like with or without Nina, Ian and Nikki's wedding is bound to be a blast.
