Rumor has it that love is in the air for "Dancing with the Stars" alumni, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 35, and Meryl Davis, 28. They are not part of the show's 20th season, but they have been dance partners for a few times and have also won the competition's highly coveted Mirror Ball trophy. Reports were circulating that Chmerkovskiy had been planning to marry Davis.
Despite being romantically linked with one another, neither of them has confirmed nor denied the dating rumors.. The ice dancer and 2014 Olympic Champion had appeared on Chmerkovskiy's very own spinoff show, "SWAY - A Dance Trilogy," last year, which further fueled rumors that they have been, indeed, dating.
When the Latin Ballroom dance champion jokingly proposed to Davis last year, according to Examiner, many of their fans believed that it was a real proposal.The report said that he proposed to his dance partner after only five minutes of meeting her.
Sadly, she has not given her answer yet and had only replied that she was one stubborn chick. It was not an authentic proposal after all, but the heat of their chemistry was so palpable that everything seemed to be real.

According to the rumor mill, he is actually secretly dating yet another "DWTS" regular, Peta Murgatroyd. They were recently spotted walking arm-in-arm while walking about in New York City.
A source have pointed out that Chmerkovskiy had actually fallen in love with his co-star in the show's Feb. 16 episode and that they had dated each other for 10 months. Sadly, for some unspecified reasons, they broke up in 2013.
Now though, they might have let bygones be bygones as Us Weekly said that they have been "spending time together." "I wouldn't say they're back together," said the source. "But, they're definitely spending time together."
It seems like nobody is getting married after all, but for Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the dating game still goes on.
