As war rages on in the northern boundaries of Iraq, a lot of people are using every possible means to escape, including ISIS Fighters attempt to flee the battlefield. These ISIS Fighters are desperate to flee even to the point of "cross-dressing".

ISIS Fighters were reported to have been putting on makeup and wearing dresses in order to conceal themselves and flee the battlefield. Some male even wore bras to pass themselves as women while they cross the borders.

At least 20 male Islamic State members were arrested in the northern city of Baquba while they were dressed as women. They have been using a lot of ways to conceal their identity and lot of arrested persons used creative means to disguise themselves as female.

Photos of the arrested ISIS Fighters circulated in social media and a lot of the arrested men used robes and veils to hide their identity. There were even those who used makeup and women's bra in order to make their female disguise more realistic. The Arabic caption in the photos suggests that the captured ISIS fighters are located in the Baiji area. The defectors are now in the custody of the Iraqi Police and they may stand trial for their acts of terrorism.

The arrested men were desperately attempting to flee the fighting in Tikrit. Iraq's military were only able to control the said location a week ago after taking it back from the Islamic State Militants. Tikrit is a city in Iraq which is located 140 km northwest of Baghdad. The huge operation launched by the Iraqi forces in the area is a stepping stone towards the retaking of Ninevah and Mosul which are under control by the militants.

ISIS Terrorist attacks are slowly being controlled in the area as other countries help the US coalition against ISIS to help in defeating the Islamic State Militants. There are also former servicemen who have volunteered in helping the fight against ISIS and formed the "ISIS Hunting Club".
