'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' boasts impressive in-game visuals, How it looks on the PC and consoles

As questions surface over how "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will look on different platforms, the game developer's, CD Projekt Red, Managing Director Adam Badowski addresses the issue.

The topic causing most controversy so far is whether or not the game will look better on the PC as opposed to on the consoles. "It will be possible to spot differences in, for example, Nvidia HairWorks, but a strong PC will be needed," said Badowski.

He went on to say that "platform unification exists" in terms of how the game will appear across all available platforms. Badowski also said the visual equality is not the result of utilizing lesser devices for the PC graphics, and is instead a product of designing the game to appear visually stunning no matter the platform, according to Design & Trend.

With fans clamoring for more glimpses into the world of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," a new image of the game running on the PC was recently released by Marcin Momot of CD Projekt Red, the game's developer.

The image was shown in 4K resolution and shows the game's Geralt as he begins to approach a town featuring an old windmill. Also seen in the image provided by Momot is how the game renders the natural environment with a cloudy sky and dying grass seen surrounding Geralt, according to Gamespot.

The game will also be bundled together with specific Nvidia graphics cards. A code for a digital copy of the game will be available to customers who purchase the GeForce GTX 960, 970, and 980 graphics cards. They can also receive the code if they purchase a notebook with a GTX970M or anything higher, according to NDTV.

The deal is available from Flipkart, Snapdeal, and other computer stores who are members of Nvidia's retail network.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will be available on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and the PC on May 19.
