Recently, Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter gave the nod that they are expecting their first child. This announcement was made few months after the couple publicly declared they're engagement. Reportedly, it was confirmed by Benedict's spokesperson. 'I am delighted to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child. They are both over the moon,' the spokesman said in a statement.
Now the pair is married, they are looking forward to be parents. A source claimed Sophie, 37 and Benedict, 38 are very excited to see their baby. 'Sophie is a few months along, and both she and Benedict are very excited about it. They are also quietly planning to marry in early spring.'
Despite being busy with their careers, the British opera and theatre director and the ‘Hobbit' actor admitted they want to have some time with their family. Cumberbatch planned to have a holiday with his wife to do some nesting. "I've been on muddy fields and on horseback playing Richard III for the BBC and I've been on more flights to Los Angeles and back than I can count. All of that has been special, but I'm ready to have a couple of months to ourselves to prepare for the baby and do some nesting," the actor said last month.
He earlier stated that he has to prepare with his upcoming baby saying it's more of a real-life role and not just an act wherein he'll perform in a movie. Also, Benedict corrected the fake news which says he and his wife will move to Los Angeles when their first child is born. "My friends are here, my family are here, Sophie is here; it doesn't make sense to uproot my whole life... I can travel for work, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else full-time," he said.
Meanwhile, Cumberbatch is said to be quitting his role for his approaching ‘Doctor Strange' film. According to reports, the talented actor leaves his acting career to focus more on Sophie who's now pregnant. The said movie is expected to boost on cinemas on November 4, 2016 which in that period Hunter already gave birth to their first baby. Will the duo make another one after that? Or will they return to the entertainment industry?
