Black Tusk Studios, the team behind new Gears of War 4, recently denied that they are working for a remastered edition for the game. However, they confirmed that the Phantom Dust reboot wasn't cancelled, they added more features instead.

Phil Spencer, Xbox One boss, said through his official Twitter account about some teasing information regarding the game - included their strategies and development progress as well. Unfortunately, he can't directly affirm facts about the release of the game's remastered edition.

"Will have more to say coming up ... Can't talk more about the plans yet," he tweeted.

Black Tusk Studios studio manager, Rod Fergusson, denied that there is an on-going remaster for the game for Xbox One. Yet, he assured fans that they could expect Phantom Dust reboot instead.

Spencer said, "Game dev isn't that cut and dry. Things will be used, new stuff will be created, it will be a mix," when asked about the details of the Phantom Dust reboot.

Moreover, he also provoked fans about what to expect for the Xbox One version of Gears of War 4. He said, "I hope we have more than just one but you have strong minds so we'll have to see how we do."

Aside from these details, he also clarified that DirectX 12 brings a lot of advantages for Xbox One since it could improve speed than DX11. Yet, this boils down to how the developers update their code. Therefore, there was an advise for Microsoft that they should be sharing benchmark results.

Meanwhile, Gears of War 4 was also rumoured to release in PC platform, too. They said that since there would be noticeable improvements to graphics, probably, it would be good for PC. Yet, fans should have to patiently wait for further details that Black Tusk Studios might announce later on.
