Codemasters reveal that F1 2015 release to Xbox One, PS4 current gen consoles that they plan to launch regular updates so as to match the results of the Formula 1 all-new season this year which just started this month.
A full line-up 2015 cars will replace the hybrid 2015 cars in a title update that will be released after the F1 2015 launch and it remains unannounced as this time whether it's a free update or racing fans will have to shell out some dollars.
According to the game developer, the game won't initially ship with the full line-up of 2015 cars, however, instead shipping with the "complete 2014 season as well as a field of Hybrid 2015 cars".
Moreover, Broadcast an voice over features are also mentioned in the memo but not much is revealed of these additions at this point.
As reported earlier, Codemasters is targeting for F1 2015 to run at 1080p/60fps while the game is currently hitting around 45-55fps on PS4. "There are still plenty of optimisations to be made on both the CPU and GPU side and this is ongoing," the email states.
F1 is currently running at 45-55 frames per second on PS4, however, Codemasters is aiming to hit 60fps.
"The ongoing quest for 60fps continues. On PS4 we're hitting around 45-55fps at 1920x1080... There are still plenty of optimizations to be made on both the CPU and GPU side and this is ongoing," Codemasters stated.
'F1 2015' racing title defined as "truly stunning" is running estimating around "45-55 frames-per-second at 1920x1080" on PS4.
Formula One season has just commenced this March which will be culminating in November 2015. Racing fans around the world can expect F1 2015 release date on current gen consoles, Xbox One, PS4, and PC in a couple of months time, the earliest, if the said leak is to be taken into account.
