It's gonna be frenzy weekend for Halo fans as Halo 5: Guardians all-new teaser trailer will be released March 21.
A countdown timer tied to Halo 5: Guardians has gone live on Tumblr, Gamespot reported. This great news is shared by Xbox senior public relations manager Rob Semsey via Twitter and the timer expires on March 21, 6pm Pacific Time (March 22 at 1am UK, 12pm AU).
The page showcases the image of a bullet embossed with the word "TRAITOR", the hashtag "#HUNTtheTRUTH" and the Halo 5: Guardians logo.
Details are scarce at this time as to what latest reveals could be and Halo 5: Guardians does not yet have a confirmed release date earlier than fall this year. 343 Industries first announced the release of the new title to the game franchise at E3 in 2013 and confirmed the game dubbed as Halo 5: Guardians name in May last year.
Additionally, Xbox marketing executive Aaron Greenberg just recently described the game as "jaw-dropping" and a game that 343 Industries has "dreamed of making," continued saying that Halo 5: Guardians will "be huge." The game developer conducted an exntensive three-week multiplayer beta for the game in December last year which drew tons of tweaks and adjustments to be made.
Players who were able to get their hands on the beta version would be able to uncover that the full version of the game will have a different control scheme. Despite that it isn't a significant change, it will offer a different feel than the beta. "It's changed dramatically from beta," said Studio Head Josh Holmes.
People who have played the beta version would have known that the game feels different from the older games. It feels faster and there are more abilities to be used.
From the marketing side, a batch of new Halo 5: Guardians toys are now available in the market. 343 Industries admitted that the Mega Bloks line of toys may have contained story spoilers for the game. Blok brick toy sets included a well-represented Master Chief and Agent Locke.
Halo 5: Guardians Xbox One sources believe that the release date this August can give the game developers to get away from stiff competition with Rise of the Tomb Raider release coming during the holiday season of 2015.
