Mariah Carey And Nick Cannon's Divorce Update: How Are Their Twins Handling The Change?

By

America's Got Talent show host Nick Cannon and his ex-wife, famed pop singer Mariah Carey, despite their separation, remain in civil terms to make things easier for their children. The couple filed for divorce January this year, but had already stopped living together months before that. The two still see each other for the sake of their 3-year-old fraternal twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

According to a US Weekly report, Nick Cannon eagerly decorated the kids' bedrooms in his new house, a property he purchased in New Jersey after his 6-year-marriage with Carey ended. He said that his twins are luckier than most, able to "experience both world", from the fast-paced city life in Manhattan to the lush flora of the Garden State.

The twins' mommy had been equally doting. Last Friday, the pop diva, while sporting her natural curls, took the twins to Disneyland for a wonderful time together. The place held bittersweet memories as she and now estranged husband Nick renewed their vows and promise of love in that place.

Nick Cannon seemed to be slowly edging back into the dating pool. Cannon was reportedly spotted dating Nicole Murphy last Valentine's day, having dinner with her often. A more recent love interest is Jessica White, a close friend of his. Cannon had been hanging around and getting real cozy with the model for a while, but he kept the relationship secret our of respect for his ex-wife.

On the other hand, Carey had been doing great at her career, a significant facet of her life that cannot be deterred by personal problems. The pop diva took up a residency deal in Las Vegas last January. Apart from the residency, she also performed at the Los Angeles gala for the Human Rights campaign promoting LGBTQ rights. It appears the singer has a lot on her plate still to date again.
