The "Flagship Killer" or the OnePlus One released by the Chinese conglomerate OnePlus earned a lot of positive comments from the users. The release of the OnePlus One came out as a surprise to other mobile companies for it had competed against Samsung and other larger companies. Therefore, it will come to no surprise that the successor of the "flagship killer" will wow the market as well.
The next "Flagship Killer" is said to be known as the OnePlus Two. According to Christian Today, this smart phone is said to carry better features than the OnePlus One had offered.
The OnePlus Two is said to come in a metallic frame which is quite similar to what Samsung uses. This is a change from what the OnePlus One had donned in before which is a polycarbonate frame. With this upgrade the price of the OnePlus Two will increase at a reasonable rate.
The OnePlus Two will include a 5.5 inch display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The smart phone will run with a 810 Snapdragon processor and a 3GB of RAM.
The "flagship killer" will also have killer camera specs. The OnePlus Two will be sporting a 20 Mp wide ranged rear camera which is an upgrade from its predecessor's 13 Mp camera.
The OnePlus Two is also rumored to run either on Android 5.0 Lollipop or its self-developed OS, the Oxygen OS.
With all these improved features, Ecumenical News reports that OnePlus might be retaining its "Invite-Only" strategy since the strategy had made the desirability of the device increase. However, since the successful release of the OnePlus One, the mobiles made by the company are now known to the masses. This would mean the demand for the device might increase, so the invite-only strategy might not be advisable. Well, it would be up for the Chinese mobile company to decide.
As for its release date, the OnePlus CEO Carl Pei had claimed that the next model will need a six month more preparation. However, as Tech Radar reports, the OnePlus Two might be available as early as April 17.
