Fans of the FOX network's supernatural drama Sleepy Hollow have all the more reason to be excited. FOX has given its official announcement that there will be a Sleepy Hollow Season 3. According to the latest Sleepy Hollow updates, fans would expect to see major changes following the new season.
Now that Glades creator Clifton Campbell has now taken charge of the series, fans couldn't help to feel anticipation for the upcoming season. While Sleepy Hollow suffered in the ratings game, the ratings did pick up significantly during the season finale. Fans of Sleepy Hollow felt like that old charm of the show returned during the Sleepy Hollow season finale.
Now that Clifton Campbell is now executive producer of the series, Sleepy Hollow would most likely take a creative shift. It was reported that Campbell was already thinking of taking the show in a different direction. Would this mean giving the series a "reboot"
On the lighter side of the news, now that the unlikable Katrina is out of the picture, fans are already speculating that the relationship between Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills will take a step in the right direction. While Ichabod is still going to come to turns over the guilt he feels involving the deaths of his wife Katrina and son Henry, Abbie will be his comfort in all this.
"If we go into a third season, of course there's going to be the guilt. There's also, I suspect, the fact that Abbie was the one who shot Henry... Abbie killed his son, and then he killed his wife." Tom Mison, who plays Ichabod in the series said.
Sleepy Hollow Season 3 will be composed of 18 episodes, and will most likely be given a release date sometime in May.
