The latest episode of The Blacklist Season 2 is sure to be an exciting one now that the murder charges against Liz have been dropped. Now that she is now clear of the murder charges, she and Red can get back to what they do best.

According to the latest The Blacklist Season 2 Spoilers, this week's episode will be told in typical The Blacklist fashion. Red and Liz will be dealing with a "mad scientist" by the name of Julian Powell. According to the spoilers, Powell is experimenting on patients who are disabled from "The Longevity Institute". The scientist performs a series of experiments on them, in hopes of unlocking the key to immortality. Unfortunately, it seems like the experiments have gone awry as his patients are killed. Powell kidnaps his patients and performs these illegal experiments on them.

Is Red interested in gaining immortality? The latest The Blacklist Season 2 Spoilers have revealed him talking to Powell about his interest in the drug. What will this entail?

The latest episode will also involve Tom Keene's intriguing storyline as he tries to save himself from new enemies in Washington, D.C. The troubled Tom Keene has a lot going through his mind as of late, and this episode will deal with him undergoing some introspection.

"He doesn't quite know his feelings for Liz. He feels something and is kind of mixed up about it. In the coming episodes, we get very clear on what those feelings are. But I don't think he's really fully aware of how he feels about Liz and whether or not to help her." said actor Ryan Eggold, who plays Tom in the series.

What is next for Tom now that he is without a job and a mask? Tune into the next episode to find out.

Catch The Blacklist Season 2 on NBC on Thursday nights at 9P.M. ET.
