Spider-Man to Join Avengers: Infinity War? Peter Parker remains as Spider-Man for Marvel; Dylan O’Brien lands on the lead role

Spider-Man is definitely hitting it big in the Marvel Universe as he joins the roster of superheroes to be featured in the Infinity War. Rumors are also spreading that a Peter Parker still remains to be the Spider-Man that we all know and will be portrayed by nonetheless than Dylan O'Brien of the movie "Maze Runner."

Reports from forums and Reddit claim that Dylan O'Brien auditioned for the role and gave his all to be able to land in the role. The young actor is also one of the lead roles in the MTV TV series Teen Wolf. If all things will falls into its proper places, this will be the second major role for the actor after his stint in the trilogy Maze Runner. Amy Pascal and the rest of the team from Marvel and Sony saw a better grasp of the character towards Dylan. An official announcement on this development is allegedly to be released by the end of March to early-April.

Spidey will be in a series of movies from Marvel which includes the upcoming movie Avengers: Age of Ultron. This movie as well as the movie Civil War is the turning point for all the Marvel characters in its cinematic universe. Every event on the two movies are leaning into the developments of the background story for the Infinity War, thus, Spider-Man's involvement in the following movies is rest assured to be 100%.

There will be no new origin story for Spider-Man but he will be introduced in the Marvel Universe as a high school student in his fourteens. He will audition for a slot in the Avengers team via a one on one battle with Iron Man. He'll earn his post in the group, but no clue on whether he'll be siding with Iron Man or with Captain America was revealed.

Spider-man's future is definitely bright in the coming years thanks to Sony and Marvel's collaboration.
