Thor is in grave danger. The franchise movie is starting to lose its spunk and news of Thor sitting down in the movie Civil War and the first installment of the Infinity War are already rampant in online forums and articles. Even the comic version of the series is losing to the female version of the God-like superhero. Is this the end of the Thor franchise or a door of opportunity for a new "female" Thor in the cinemas?
Thor may be included in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" movie but he will be missing the epic "Captain America 3: Civil War" as well as the first part of the "Infinity Wars." Thor and Hulk are out of the sequel. Thor will be back to Asgar to deal with several events that will lead to the "Thor: Ragnarok" movie. Thor will return together with Hulk and Captain America on the Part 2 of the Infinity War.
Meanwhile, Kenneth Branagh is rumored to be taking over in directing the movie Thor 3. He is back on the reins after losing the spot in the second installment of the franchise to Alan Taylor. The director shared his thoughts on the first installment of the series as well as his experience in directing the live-action Disney movie Cinderella.
"I think we love the escapism of something like 'Cinderella' and I think we do with 'Thor'. And as long as we can believe that there is a connection between us and a bunch of guys riding on horses across a rainbow bridge in space and somehow connected to the Norse myths, we get the adventure, we get the escape, we get the immersion in another world that's different from ours so we're really happy to go to a big darkened room to see that."
Hopefully, with the help of the director that launched Thor into the box-office records would manage to bring back the interest of viewers in the third installment of the movie.
Thor 3: Ragnarok will be released on cinemas on November 3, 2017.
