Capcom announces Vergil, Trish, and Ludy as the three new playable characters in the "Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition". Plus, Capcom teases one of Vergil's killer moves, the "Concentration mode", as well as the other two characers', game modes of DMC4SE, and some game freebies.
Gematsu cited reports by Famitsu that DMC4SE is going to be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gaming platforms for 4,490 Japanese Yen. The video game is reportedly a full-scale development from the original game. Fans are going to definitely enjoy as there will be three new playable characters in the game.
Game Informer revealed that the video gaming consoles will also be having the Legendary Dark Knight Mode, which spawns more enemies having higher strength and vitality. This was first featured in the PC original version of the game.
But still the best source of information about "Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition" is from its publisher, Capcom. And good news because Capcom just recently released solid information about the famous DMC4SE video game.
According to Campcom, the three new playable characters in the video game are Vergil, Trish, and Lady, which will make a total of five playable characters. The post revealed that Vergil is going to have a "fully upgradable move set" based on his execution in the "Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition". Vergil will also feature a new "Concentration" mechanic, which will reportedly make the his attacks becoming more powerful and flawless as he fights. He will be playable in any missions.
Meanwhile, Trish will put an end with the need for weapon switching. Instead, she will be using her flexible Sparta sword, pistols, and hands in various inventive ways. While playing Trish, users will be enabled to play with quite a few buttons. However, she will still have killer move sets. Trish will be playable on Dante's missions.
Lady, who is playable for the first time, will specialize long-range, firearm-based fighting, which will make the feel of the game completely different. Lady's signature weapon would be the Kalina Ann, which features a grappling hook that will allow her to cross places that seems similar to Nero. Lady will be playable on Nero's missions.
Besides the Legendary Dark Knight Mode, players will be able to experience the Turbo Mode and receive bonus costumes and skins. DMC4SE is being developed for PC game play also, with the game set for a summer digital release.
