Gamers could now download the latest mod for "Mass Effect: Homeworlds 2," the "Mass Effect: Reborn." The latest mod could be installed in the "Mass Effect: Classic" edition contained within Homeworld Remastered.
"Mass Effect: Homeworlds 2" would feature "a total-conversion developed and published by Phoenix Interactive," based on the "Mass Effect" Moddb page. The latest mod would also "aim to recreate the universe of BioWare's Mass Effect franchise into Homeworld Remastered." Add to that, "Mass Effect: Homeworlds 2" was a collaboration between BioWare, Tunngle and MassEffectUniverse.fr.
The "Mass Effect" mod team also gave out a message to their avid gamers. They said that "we've been working hard thus far and the next release of Mass Effect: Reborn for Homeworld: Remastered would be radically different, much more immersive and more than beautiful," based on a report from PC Gamers. They added that they "really want to give to the community and new players the best Mass Effect experience they can; also, they "hope they will have maintain the gaming community's support."
Meanwhile, a few gamers defined the remastered version as an amazing game just like its predecessor. Phoenix Interactive would also be checking the possibility of putting together an original music score for a completely unique "Mass Effect" experience.
Previously, "Mass Effect" developers hailed an upcoming milestone in the development of the upcoming installment in the franchise. They had also thanked the teams that were working in the game's development in putting the plan in to motion. With the release of the latest mod this week, it would be very difficult for gaming fans to move their attention away from anything "Mass Effect" related, including a game that still being developed and that had been covered in secrecy.
Add to that, some gamers started theorizing about the storyline of "Mass Effect 4" (not the official title). Some gamers wished that the story would continue with Shepard's child.
