'Insurgent' Reveals 'Allegiant' Spoilers: Tris Death to be Witnessed in Sequel, New Character to be Introduced?

The second installment of the Divergent series, Insurgent has been released in the cinemas last March 20, 2015 and created several reactions from the media and its viewers. Several plot details on what the third installment, Allegiant were revealed in the movie. The movie has failed to top Divergent's opening weekend sale and only managed to hit the $52 million dollar mark.

The movie Insurgent offered a lot of interesting facts to look forward to in the upcoming movie Allegiant. Tris, Four and his group might have already defeated the Erudite, but there is more dangerous challenges ahead of them. Evelyn, Four mother managed to help his son in defeating Erudite, but the truth is that there is something more sinister in her mind. She plans to take down all the factions, good and bad alike and start a new world for the city.

A new character, a male one might actually be introduced in the last installment of the Veronica Roth series. During her latest guesting in the LA Times Festival of books, she shared details on how and where she gets the name of the characters in her book. According to the celebrated writer, she gets names from behindthename.com and when it does not work, she gets the name of someone she knows. She shared that she tried to name a character after her brother-in-law in Allegiant, but said that it was too weird. This is definitely a sign that there are more characters left to be discovered in the upcoming series.

Followers of the movie series on the other hand are thinking of petitioning Veronica Roth in changing the ending of the trilogy. Tris is bound to die in the end of the movie. Yes, fans are heartbroken aftek knowing that Tris will never have a happy ending with Four. Veronica Roth wrote a blog post to explain the unlikely ending of the book.

"I've said before that this ending was always part of the plan, but one thing I want to make clear is that I didn't choose it to shock anyone, or to upset anyone, or because I'm ruthless with my characters - no, no, no," Roth explained. "I will miss her, that Tris voice in my head. But I'm so, so proud of her strength,' she continues.

A 2016 release is expected for the Allegiant franchise.
