Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One 'Ascendance' DLC 2 Preview: New EXO Zombies episode, OHM weapons, maps added

The new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC pack 2, 'Ascendance,' is first previewed March 29 at the 2015 Call of Duty Championship broadcast via Xbox Live and other broadcasting partners.

Sledgehammer Games and Activision confirmed that the second expansion pack will be released March 31 with amazing additions of four new multiplayer maps, bonus weapons, Exo Grapple ability and more 31 for Xbox One, Xbox 360 players according to Tech Times,

"'Ascendance' has it all, four all-new maps that were designed from the ground up for Exo abilities and the next chilling entry in the Exo Zombies experience," Sledgehammer Games co-studio head Michael Condrey said.

The four new maps introduced in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance DLC are Perplex, Site 244, Climate and Chop Shop.

Perplex takes place in a five-story modular apartment building that constantly changes form as construction drones move the apartment's modules.

On the other hand, Site 244 takes gamers to Mt. Rushmore where a mysterious cargo spilled from a crashed alien spaceship can be located with the map's scorestreak allowing the gamers to open up alien spores to improve exo abilities and earn perks.

The Climate map brings players in a man-made, climate-controlled enclosure with a river that can transform itself from being friendly to dangerous.

Finally, Chop Shop is an industrial complex with the map's scorestreak that lets players to secure certain areas through an Advanced Repulsion Turret.

The Ascendance DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare also adds to the new weapon, an OHM directed energy light machine gun-shotgun hybrid weapon, and the custom variant is for the OHM Werewolf.

The Exo Grapple ability is also a new content that gives players the power to gain strategic vantage points much faster and can also be seen as a deadly secondary weapon.

A new episode for Exo Zombies will also be included in Ascendance DLC where John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal reprise their roles as Atlas employees fighting off hordes of zombies.

The Ascendance DLC is part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Season Pass where players get all four planned DLC packs for the year at $49.99 but also available for a separate price of $15. Season Pass holders get instant access to the bonus weapons that comes with the pack.

The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance DLC pack release arrives first for Xbox One, Xbox 360 players March 31 and two more packs are slated to roll out this year.
