'The Fosters' Season 2 spoilers hints that one of the characters who involved in the car accident died on the spot. According to speculations, it could be Jesus who died in the fatal incident, as the actor Jake Austin bids farewell to the show.
'The Fosters' Season 2 has ended with a shocking incident. At the end of the episode, twins Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) and Jesus (Jake T.Austin), were driving home from the dance competition with their very pregnant birth mother Ana (Alexandra Bareto). Ana was starting to go into labor but she said she could still drive to the hospital even though she had already pulled over once. Suddenly another car hit them. After their car was sideswiped, the dispatcher said that there was a fatality, but no one mentioned who it was.
Many fans may have assumed the Mariana and Jesus would be safe. However, it appears that Jesus could have died, as Jake T. Austin, who portrays one of the twins, bids farewell shortly after the episode.
"I'm honored to have been a part of such a groundbreaking series, but I personally want to let you know that my time on the show has come to an end. Thank you for letting me be a part of your family, it's been a pleasure. "- Actor Jake Austin wrote on Twitter.
Austin's surprising departure from the show could mean his character is the one who was killed. Although there could be logic to this, but many are still open to possibility that Jesus may not be the one died, as he still plans on boarding school.
The show creator Bradley Bredweg also tweeted regarding Austin's exit and reminded fans not to follow their first assumptions, "All of us at #TheFosters wish Jake the very best. But we are still a family. And as I said, not everything is what it seems on #TheFosters". This statement makes Mariana, Ana and Ana's baby to be potential victims.
Fans will have to wait for "The Fosters" Season 3 to find out who died.
