Perrie Edwards to Blame for Zayn Malik's Leaving One Direction? Despite Cheating, Marriage Continues

By

Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards are reportedly settling down, despite the roller coaster ride that they have bee in for last couple of months. The English popstars, who were engaged since 2010 have finally decided to tie the knot. Friends and family expressed their excitement and wedding plans were reportedly on the way.

Zayn Malik, 22, and Perrie Edwards, 21, have been planning to get married for quite a while now. The past few months have been truly a crazy time for the two, especially with the cheating allegations and personal troubles Zayn Malik went through, which all boiled down to Zayn finally leaving One Direction.

Many fans have speculated that it must have been Perrie Edwards' ultimatum that finally got to Zayn. According to an insider, "She was furious about the pictures of him holding hands with an attractive blonde fan, and delivered an ultimatum to leave the tour and fix their relationship." "Perrie reiterated, 'Get home if you want to sort this mess out, or we're done," the insider added.

On March 25, Zayn Malik officially announced that he was decided to leave One Direction, explaining that he wants to be "a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight."

On the brighter side, the two have been planning to get married for some time now and it pretty much looks like the "private time" for them has arrived. Zayn's mum, Trisha Malik, was quoted saying, "Perrie is a lovely girl and I get on really well with her."

Finally, a source close to the couple shared, "Perrie and Zayn are insanely happy, and their relationship's even stronger because they get on with each other so well. With that in mind, as well as looking into a church wedding, the pair are also discussing having a traditional Islamic ceremony, because Zayn's family are Muslim."
