Bethesda has just announced another release of "The Evil Within" DLC, "The Consequence", which will be on April 21 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, etc., PlayStation players in Europe will have it on April 22. Plus, another upcoming "The Evil Within" DLC, "The Executioner", is up next for a release. Three "The Evil Within" DLC packs are currently offered with a special $20 deal.
"The Evil Within"'s second DLC has been announced to be released on April 21 called "The Consequence", which its previous instalment, "The Assignment", was released back in early March, reports Science Fiction.
"The Consequence" will continue where "The Assignment" left off and players will find themselves controlling Juli Kidman, the partner of Sebastian Castellanos.
Both "The Consequence" and "The Assignment" are going to be included in "The Evil Within" Season Pass with a price of $19.99 along with an additional DLC pack, called "The Executioner", that will feature the enemy, Boxhead. In "The Executioner", gamers will be able to play the Boxhead in a series of mission-based levels with a set of evil objectives.
Game Spot reportedly said, via BREATHEcast, that though the three DLC packs could be bought in a $20 bundle, each DLC could be bought individually at $10.
There is not much of information about what players could specifically expect in upcoming DLC except for a continued thrill, puzzles, horror, and action.
A spokesperson in Bethesda posted in the company's blog saying, "Since it's only been a couple weeks since The Assignment released, we don't want to spoil too much of what's happening next - there would assuredly be consequences for that. Instead, we've created a brief teaser of the madness Kidman will soon encounter."
This brief 20-second teaser shows Juli Kidman walking on a track towards a train that seems to be rushing towards her. Then a light flashes brightly, followed by a scream, and Juli Kidman saying, "I'm not running this time."
"The Consequence" is slated for a release on Tuesday, April 21 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. Players in Europe using PlayStation will have the "The Consequence" DLC on Wednesday, April 22.
"The Evil Within" was developed by Tango Gameworks and first released in October 2014.
