The first online enabled PS4 title, Bloodborne, is confirmed to the be compatible with the latest console suspend/resume feature that PS4 owners have long waited for since launch. Meanwhile, the new game releases in UK this Friday, March 27.
According to a report from Videogamer, the suspend/resume feature can be triggered from either Online or Offline mode that should be a surprise to user given that it's a system level feature. However, what happens when one resumes the game will be determined on whether Bloodborne is played offline or online when the last game session was suspended.
Bloodborne will solely support the suspend/resume feature when in Offline Mode. Those who suspend the game while offline easily find their hunter right where they left him/her. However,to resume an online game session will apparently see players back to the game menu, meaning, character and progress will pick back up from last checkpoint.
IGN also shared how players get to the Abandoned Old Workshop and unlock the Source of the Dream trophy including how to snag some new items and armor in Bloodborne. Check out the full wiki on IGN @ https://www.ign.com/wikis/Bloodborne

"Bloodborne may have many of the systems that make the Souls games amazing experiences underneath the hood, but on the surface there's a slick coat of blood that makes this PS4 exclusive look like a tantalizing treat when it arrives next year."
- Game Informer, Daniel Track
"...with its fresh emphasis on a new type of combat - and with the addition of just a little speed - the entire name of the game has changed for me. Bloodborne is, in the limited roster of games I've seen at E3 so far, my favorite title of the show. And I can't wait to see more."
-IGN, Colin Moriarty
