Songstress Rihanna also known as RiRi teased fans by giving a little part of 'Bitch Better Have My Money,' a single from her upcoming unnamed album, before releasing it on iHeartRadio and major US radio stations. Though the title is like a dissing song, most of the music reviewers notice that the new single of Leonardo DiCaprio's rumored girlfriend has very Rihanna's sound.
Before Bitch Better Have My Money, the 27-year old Barbadian singer debuted 'Four Five Seconds' two months ago. It's a collaborative song with rapper Kanye West and legendary Paul McCartney and Billboard's Top 5 Songs for Week Ending March 28. In Vox's review, RiRi's follow- up single after Four Five is a 'little more swagger' and yet 'subtler' compare to her other songs. Vox also added that Bitch Better is a proof that singer is in control of her sound and does what she likes to do.
"I've made a lot of songs that are really, really big songs. And I wanted to kind of get back to - not that they weren't real music - but I just wanted to focus on things that felt real, that felt soulful, that felt forever," Rihanna shared with MTV News. "I find that when I get onstage now, I don't want to perform a lot of my songs. They don't feel like me. So I want to make songs that are timeless."
According to Direct Lyrics' review, BBHMM brings the urban drive of RiRi and it falls to dance to pop music category that DJs will love to play. DL added that despite that some criticized this Deputy and Kanye West produced song as 'lazy,' it's one of her catchy songs that fit to listeners' 'guilty pleasure.'
"It's a bona-fide BOP no matter what haters are saying, clubs are going to have to reinforce their dance floors when DJs start playing this, there are tons of exciting remix possibilities for this song, and I just love the fact Rihanna's giving us something we're more accustomed from her and not just another folk song a la Four Five Seconds as second single," DL pointed out.
Bitch Better Have My Money is co-written by Bibi Bourelly and now available on iTunes. As for when she's going to release her eight studio album, which she simply called '#R8' on Instagram, some reports it will be in the latter part of this year.
In other report about RiRi, the 'Diamond' singer denied that she's dating the 40-year-old 'Titanic' actor. During the press conference for her animated film 'Home,' Rihanna shared her views about her past love and herself.
"The more we respect ourselves the more men will respect us," the 'Umbrella' singer said. "I have both sides to me and I think most women do. We are strong but we are very vulnerable as well. I get very fierce and passionate about my career and about my family. But there are also things that make me become a little girl. Like, I love balloons, that definitely really brings out the little girl in me."
