According to their recent post in their official blog site, Codemasters shared details about the F1 2015 game. They said that they are stepping forward for the game's visuals along with the physics-based handling model. These enhancements constitute the 20 areas - engine, transmission, aerodynamics, fuel tank, force feedback, and suspension.
In addition, they also build a new tire physics model which is said to combine for a "truly breathtaking and realistic representation of how these cars handle on the track."
The game developer also boasted about their new "broadcast-style" presentation. They said that it aims to capture the race-day atmosphere as authentic as possible. With that, it comes along with the updated Championship Season mode and also new Pro Season mode. These modes will be very challenging, Codemasters said.
Aside from Championship Season and Pro Season modes, they will also have Quick Race and Multiplayer.
With these updates, what F1 2015 has to offer is its voice commands that will be supported to the platforms by using Kinect and PlayStation Camera. They work through, "You can ask for race info, updates on the weather, tire status, request tires, and even front wing changes," Codemasters said.
Previously, the game was reported to have hybrid cars featuring the 2014 and 2015 models. F1 2015 finally confirmed to have licensed cars, together with the drivers and tracks rooted from 2014 Formula One World Championship season [bonus content].
Game director Paul Jeal recently released a statement pointing to what the fans should expect for F1 2015 to release this year. With that being said, he highlighted that it would mark a new dawn of chapter for them as game developer and also for the Formula One [management] as a whole.
He bragged that they [his team] has made massive improvement unlike its previous games released. "In particular our new tire model is a superb step forward towards realism, letting you explore where the limit is and allowing you to instantly feel much more connected with the car. You can now experience the changes in grip caused by temperature changes, wear, car set-up, debris, and weather conditions."
This kind of dynamics that Codemasters tries to highlight in the gameplay is the realism that they wanted to impart to the fans, avid gamers alike. In this way, they are able to feel the race as if they were really in that scenario.
He added, "Our improved vehicle dynamics much more accurately convey the difference in performance and the feel between mechanical and aerodynamic grip. The new Force Feedback system adds to the feeling of connection with the car and track surface. The more natural and realistic nature of the game physics also serves to ensure that the racing experience is more accessible, enjoyable and rewarding for players of all skill levels."
The F1 2015 gameplay is in time for the second round at the Malaysian Grand Prix this weekend. Thus, Codemasters find it relevant to announce the details of the game [2015 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSIP], too.
