“X-Men Apocalypse” Movie Update, Spoilers: Production in need of a new Mystique; Jubilee joins the X-Men team

By

Another young lass is added to the roster of stars to be featured in the upcoming Marvel movie X-Men Apocalypse. Lana Condor was recently announced to be part of the cast last Wednesday. News about the latest addition was spread by a reliable source, Bryan Singer, the director of the movie franchise. He's latest announcement gives viewers a few clues on how the plot of the movie will be.

Unfortunately, Marvel is in need of a new Mystique. Jennifer Lawrence seems to have enough with the roles and decides to drop in the movie. Rumors that she wants to focus on the conclusive movie of the Hunger Games trilogy triggered her to choose to retire from the role. The rest of the "essential" casts in the movie remains to be loyal with their roles.

On the lighter note, everyone seems to be excited with the recent announcement of Jubilee's involvement in the movie. Currently, the mutant is now a vampire in the comics after a run-in with the ultimate vampire, Count Dracula. A younger version of Jubilee would be included in the series, just like the other new casts in the movie.

Unlike the other characters in the movie, Jubilee's backstory is not as dramatic and spiteful compared to the rest of the X-Men. She hails from a well-off family, a gymnast and has the capability of generating fireworks and explosions from her hand. Her past would most likely clash with those of the young Jean Grey, Scott Summers, Nightcrawler and the rest of the team. Her recent addition to the movie that her powers would most likely has something to do with a significant angle in the plot of the movie.

The much anticipated movie is scheduled in the cinemas on May 27, 2016 and will start filming in Montreal this summer of 2015.
