Fans have been anticipating when would be the probable scheduled release for Gran Turismo 7. Previously, it was already announced by the game developer themselves that it would be in 2015 or 2016. However, until now, they haven't said any confirmation about the official launching of the game. But fans have outlined their expectations for the entire gameplay.
According to latest news about Gran Turismo grand debut, Polyphony Digital mentioned that the gameplay is on the way since 2013 when it was first announced. Though its release delayed, the creator explained that they won't be able to make it.
"We are working on the title ... I don't think it'll make this year!" he said. The 2014 release for him is too optimistic as mentioned.
Part of their promise is to give fans a very much improved graphics as well as audio fit for Sony's next-generation console needs. This contrasted to the claim that the "standard pixelated cars" will remain in the next game series since Yamauchi said himself that he won't be throwing out any standard cars.
"I doubt that we'll be throwing away the standard cars. Each car has its own fans. So I think we'll hang on to the archive. In the meanwhile, some of those card we may be able to make into premium cars as they become available - but basically we're more focused on increasing the number of premium cars."
He announced, "I think the quality of the sounds in 'Gran Turismo 6' will be improved but most of the work will be done in 'Gran Turismo 7," Yamauchi added about its big leap to console, "Everything will be running naturally, PS3 was much, much more difficult. The high quality of data that we have being rendered on the PS4, I think is going to make an incredible difference."
The game's GPS track maker might be available soon since it is now being Beta tested. Part of the graphic enhancements is having the FIA certification for the 3D modelling of the international race tracks. They even announced that they have a special 2015 FIA Online Championship event to emphasize the accuracy of the tracks.
FIA Head of Safety Jacques Berger, regarding about the track accuracy, said, "It was not until we completed the tests between our track data and the game's track data that we fully appreciated the level of work and attention to detail that goes into the development of Gran Turismo 6.
They also said that they will make announcements this upcoming E3 2015 PlayStation press conference, as Kazunori Yamauchi had made his best design to this racing simulation. Thus, fans could really expect a lot from this game.
More about Yamauchi's announcement is that he will personally give a demo to show off his new game along with an extensive gameplay trailer. Gamers could see the release window of the game by November this year.
What is more interesting about the game is that it became a hit in Japan's sales, particularly in Tokyo Stores, wherein Gran Turismo 6 bagged that Gold Prize at the PlayStation Awards. Therefore, it hinted that there is really a lot to expect from the game if this will be released to other countries. In the first place, why the game would create big sales if this isn't good enough and quality not guaranteed.
Meanwhile, avid gamers of Gran Turismo 6 might have DLC packs to arrive soon. These may include cars - monthly updated, such as Ayrton Senna's Lotus 97T F1 car, 2012 Toyota TS030 Hybrid LMP1 racer.
Gran Turismo will hit screens sometime 2017 as a PS4-exclusive.
