Sucker Punch PS4 Exclusive Release: SP working on ‘Infamous 3?’ Game developer celebrates 'Infamous Second Son' 1st anniversary

By

Sucker Punch Productions had been silently working on a PS4 exclusive with very few clues that would indicate what they've been doing in the previous months. However, the latest job posting in their website might provide hints to what they were planning to launch.

Sucker Punch would be looking for a Senior Character Technical Artist for their latest project. The job would require the candidate to employ "exciting techniques," which from the previous works of Sucker Punch would definitely be "special," based on a report from Wccftech.

Apart from that, the job listing might indicate that the next Sucker Punch Productions game could be a third person combat. The game developers were also looking for a Combat Designer "who knows how to throw a good digital punch." Add to that, the game developers noted in their job posting that "[the applicant should have] at least one shipped AAA title where [they] were instrumental in the design its 3rd person melee system," based on a report from Gaming Bolt.

A few gamers believed that Sucker Punch Productions might be working on the next "Infamous" game. Meanwhile, Sucker Punch Productions would be celebrating the first anniversary of "Infamous Second Son" by offering free and discounted downloadable items. The goodies would be including "an assortment of images, PNGs of Delsin's beanie for easy Photoshopping purposes, and the ringtones used by Delsin and Fetch in the game" based on a report from Game Informer.

Add to that, gamers would be able to get a 50% discount off the "Infamous First Light DLC" if they would be buying it from March 27 to March 30. The DLC was first featured in January 2015 in PlayStation Plus as a free game and would not require "Infamous Second Son." Gamers could check out Sucker Punch Productions' Twitter account for more details about the first anniversary of "Infamous Second Son."
