Microsoft Studios had released two new teasers on the upcoming launch of the Xbox One exclusive "Halo 5: Guardians." The teasers also point to October 27 as the game's release date.
Last week, Microsoft Studios launched the "Hunt the Truth" website as a prelude to the anticipated release of "Halo 5: Guardians." The website and the set of videos and audio files that would be uploaded would give gamers a glimpse of Master Chief's supposed dark history.
The recent set of videos were uploaded in the official Xbox YouTube Channel. One of the videos showed Spartan Locke approaching an injured Master Chief. It also seemed that Spartan Locke was planning to put an end to the Master Chief's agony. Apart from that, Xbox had been busy on Twitter as it gave details that would supplement the recently uploaded video teasers for "Halo 5: Guardians," based on a report from Gamespot.
Microsoft Studios had also confirmed that Spartan Locke would be a playable character in "Halo 5: Guardians," while Cortana would be reappearing in the game. Meanwhile, the recent installment to the "Halo" franchise would be getting its own server for its multiplayer mode as well as its custom games.
Hardcore "Halo" gamers could also check out the "Halo 5: Guardians" online mystery game to see if Master Chief was truly a traitor or was he the one who saved us all. The alternate reality game would have the gamers watch short clips and listen to audio files that would be uploaded in the game's YouTube channel or on the "Hunt the Truth" website, and later on determine the truth behind the speculation that Master Chief was a traitor, based on a report from Kotaku.
The first two files on the online mystery game were a short clip showing a bullet with the word traitor engraved on it; then, an audio file featuring journalist Benjamin Giraud's (voiced over by Keegan-Michael Key) initial investigation for his story about the Master Chief was uploaded as well.
