HTC has just started releasing the latest OTA Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its carrier phone, the One (M7), in India, Singapore, Malaysia, and other regions, according to reports by GSMArena.com.

One (M7) smartphone users in India will be receiving the said Android update with a 7.21.707.105 build version of 774.82 MB in size. Each region will be reportedly receiving different build version numbers but will still carry more or less about 800 MB in size.

A photo in GSMArena.com shows the following features of the system update:

    • Recent apps: Supporting multiple pages
    • Addition of search function within settings

The photo also gives users a recommendation to use a Wi-Fi connection for the update. The update will also acquire additional charges and that it won't delete any of their content.

Meanwhile, Asus has reportedly announced that they are going to release the Asus Zenfone 2 in the last week of April 2015, reports by Times of India.

The Asus Zenfone 2 will come with a 5.5-inch full HD and a (1280x1920p) IPS display that enables users to make a 178-degree viewing angle. It will also come with a TruViVid technology that enhances display performance with brighter colors. It is powered by a 2.3 GHz Intel Atom quad-core processor Z3580 with a 4 GB RAM to give users a gaming performance that is up 7 times faster than its previous phone version.

In terms of connectivity, it will sport a 4G/LTE connectivity for faster data speed of up to 150Mbit/s beside its high-speed 802.11ac Wi-Fi. It will also support Dual-SIM with Dual Active mode. The phone's camera is built with a 13MP PixelMaster and an f/2.0 wide-aperture lens with a "real tone" flash for warm skin tones and accurate color. In addition to that, it will also be equipped with a 5MP front-facing camera with a wide, 85-degree field view that is best for taking selfies.

Its high-capacity 3000mAh battery will give users a full day of use on a single charge. Plus when being charged, it only takes 39 minutes to have a 60% battery level. On top of that, the Asus Zenfone 2 phone will run the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with a new version of Asus ZenUI that offers a fully-customizable interface and Trend Micro security software.

While the Asus Zenfone 2 will be running the latest Android Lollipop update, there are rumors saying that Samsung devices will not be having the Android 5.1 update for the Galaxy Note 4, contrary to other rumors that reportedly said Samsung is currently developing Android 5.1 for the Galaxy Note 4.

SamMobile debunked YouMobile rumors and cited Samsung insiders that reportedly said that the company is currently not working on Android 5.1 for any of its devices. Further, there is still no word coming out from Samsung that the Galaxy Note 4 will have the latest version of UX.

For now, it is expected that the Galaxy Note 4 will stay with the Android 5.0.x.
