The Korean smart phone manufacturer Samsung has been taking the mobile market in a whirlwind of frenzy as it consistently produces devices that are considered high end and highly efficient. As reported by KnowYourMobile, it had released the best phablets in the industry. Recently, Samsung had released the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge which had wowed the market with its unique features and design. So the question is, will Samsung keep up with its rep with the release of its Samsung Galaxy Note 5?
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is rumored to sport a 4K dual-EDGE display. The phablet will be a combination of the feats of the successfully launched Note Edge and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. According to an interview with the EVP of Samsung's product strategy team, Roh Tae-moon (via Value Walk),
"The senior executive suggested that this forthcoming phablet might include a dual-edge display," said the report. "This is something that is very much part of the Samsung portfolio for the future, but Mr. Tae-Moon suggested that it might get its first outing with the release of the Galaxy Note 5 this year. It is still very early days for this concept, and certainly not too much was being given away, so it is not entirely clear whether or not this will be the sole Galaxy Note 5 model, or whether it will instead follow the blueprint laid out by the Galaxy S6 and previous iteration of the Galaxy note series."
Although this statement does not specifically mention whether a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with an edge design will be released or just a basic Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with a follow up model with an edge design.
All of this will be clarified when the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be released. Traditionally, Samsung will be introducing its new device in the IFA expo which is to be held in Berlin on September.
