Will Andy Serkis Continue His Ulysses Klaw Portrayal In The Marvel Cinematic Universe?

By

British film actor Andy Serkis recently expressed his thoughts on his brief appearance for the upcoming sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Bafta awardee's cameo part for the comicbook supervillain Ulysses Klaw was just officially released two months ago, in spite of the fact that fans caught sight of him in the film's first two trailers.

The Dawn of The Planet of The Apes star finally acknowledged his mystery role in an interview with Empire Magazine during the 2015 Jameson Empire Awards. "It was really minimal," Serkis confirmed, "but I just loved doing it; it's a great character." Serkis who is known in Hollywood for his motion capture acting, had also shared his expertise as he was the motion capture consultant for the epic follow-up to 2012's The Avengers.

The appearance of Ulysses Klaw in the footages had already made avid comic book readers foam in their mouths for the villain's possible reprisal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. This is to take into consideration the detrimental attachment Klaw has with being the key adversary to the African superhero, Black Panther. Serkis however, had kept everything hush-hush about his future MCU prospects:

"I truly don't know anything about that. I know that they've just announced the Black Panther movie, but I don't know anything about it."

The Black Panther will not only have a cinematic debut in Captain America: Civil War in 2016 but will also have his own stand alone movie slated for a July 6, 2018 release. Chadwick Boseman who played the influential baseball pioneer, Jackie Robinson in the biographical sports film "42" was already verified to play Black Panther whose alter-ego is T'Challa, the crowned price of Wakanda.

Avengers: Age of Ultron will finally be shown in the silver screen just a month from now, May 1, 2015. The already grand ensemble cast will be joined by James Spader (Ultron), Paul Bettany (J.A.R.V.I.S./Vision), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch).
