A lot of buzz about the superhero movie has been going around despite WB's effort to keep its vital details in the dark. Those who attended the San Diego Comic-con last summer are the few lucky ones who saw the teaser trailer of the movie.
Good news is, according to Collider, the trailer of the highly-anticipated "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be publicized during the Mad Max: Fury Road premiere.
This move can be considered strategic since Dawn of Justice draws a lot of movie goers who will surely wait in line during the premiere of Fury Road, giving it support in the box office.
Another reason for this wise decision according to Collider is marketing. With this huge superhero movie under its belt, WB would want all the media attention directed to "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice".
By mid-summer, Marvel's equally huge franchise, Avengers: Age of Ultron, had already hit the theaters for two weeks, which will allow Zack Snyder's movie to get the sole attention from the media and superhero fans alike.
Throughout the promotion of "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice", WB has been a tease by dropping information about the movie one at a time. In 2014, they revealed that Bruce Wayne's character will be played by Gone Girl star Ben Affleck. According to Screenrant, the Daredevil actor got mixed opinions from critics and fans after the said reveal.
Just last month, people got a first peek of Jessie Eisenberg's look as Superman's arch enemy Lex Luthor. Entertainment Weekly posted a photo of a bald Eisenberg, who according to Snyder is, "not any of the Lexes that you've seen, that's for sure."
