It's been quite a while since we've heard from Teresa Giudice. Ever since the Real Housewives of New Jersey star was sent to a Federal Correctional Institute in New Jersey, she's (for obvious reasons) kind of dropped off the reality TV map. But she's back now, in a rare public appearance to show the world how she's coping with life behind bars.
And how is she doing? Well, incredibly, she seems to have maintained her fashion sense from prison. Instead of her usual Real Housewives look, Giudice looks much different- but still stylish. Her hair is shorter and it's noticeably curlier (she must have been having it straightened on the outside- apparently there aren't hair straighteners in prison). As well, she's having to rock a prison jumpsuit instead of her own fashionable clothing choices.
According to Hollywood Life, the experience has been an emotional one for Giudice so far- but she's persevering through it. In her own words: "I miss Joe and my girls terribly," Giucide revealed.
But really, it's actually her husband Joe who's bearing the brunt of the emotional stress. At least that's the way he tells it. "I cry more than the girls," Joe said in a statement. "I pretty much cry every time I leave. Like a little baby."
Kind of sweet, isn't it? And also very sad. At least, as Hollywood Life reports, the couple gets to spend six hours together during their visiting time.
As well, another source commented on the state of Real Housewives of New Jersey without Giudice there to star. "The show will absolutely go on without Teresa," the source explained. "No formal dates have been made for filming to begin because producers are still looking for potential new cast members."
Giudice will be released from prison in February of 2016- we'll likely find out then what'll happen with RHOBH and Giudice's potential return.
